THE VIRGIN THREESOME’S WEDDING
By Brit M.
Series: The Virgin Threesome, #2
Publisher: Ravenous Romance
Release Date: April 2012
Length: 50,715 words

What was supposed to be a sexy weekend fling for Marissa, Paul, and Adrian unexpectedly became so much more, and the threesome has decided to create an unconventional romance. But faced with her family’s clear disapproval and her own insecurity about being a third wheel, is Marissa ready to risk her heart for three-way love?

When I started reading this one, I felt like I had come into the middle of a story and was
missing a whole part of the history of the characters. After doing some research, I found
this is indeed the second book, after The Virgin Threesome. Obviously, the first book
would set the reader up more with the characters, allow you to get to know them more.
That is totally my fault, for not realizing earlier that there was a book before this one.
After the first chapter or so, when the action of this book started – it was easier to follow
along, and suddenly, I didnʼt need to have read the first one anymore.

Marissa found Paul and Adrian in the personal ads. The two men are already in a
committed relationship with each other, and through the ad – Marissa ended up
spending one hot weekend with them. This book picks up three months later. Marissa
has not seen the boys since then, but she has been going to a sex therapist and
journaling about her fantasies. She meets the men for dinner and they spend another
hot weekend together. When I say hot, I mean HOT. The writing is superb, and draws
you into the world of these characters. I became engaged in their struggle and
emotionally attached to them.

The best thing about this book is it seemed so real. Paul and Adrian want to
include Marissa in their life they already have together, and Marissa wants nothing more
than that. However, there is a communication breakdown and assumptions, and on and
on – just like what would happen in reality. I liked that about this story – I felt like this
could be based on true events. The struggle of three people trying to make a menage
relationship work in real life. It wasnʼt like wham, bam, the sex is great and now we live
happily ever after. Their relationship struggled with absence, miscommunication, and
trying to reconcile what they want and feel with what society says is the norm. Paul and
Adrian already had a life together and Marissa fears she has no place in that, that there
isnʼt enough love to include her. She struggles with the fear that she may be paying one
man more attention than the other, that there may be jealousy. They come to a
conclusion pretty quickly, in my opinion, but I guess when you know itʼs right, you have
to do what you have to do.

The sex scenes in this one are amazing! Threesome is in the title, so you already
know there is m/f/m. There is also m/m and some kinky scenes as well. Lots of great
surprises.
