While casting a protection spell, Rowan Spencer gets the shock of her life. The spell goes very, very wrong, and she accidentally summons an ancient Celtic god.

A gorgeous, naked god.

Until Gwydion’s duty is complete, he’s bound to the human who summoned him. But as the poisons of earth drain him, he finds binding Rowan for his pleasure is a sensuous task he’d enjoy for a lifetime—a lifetime that isn’t theirs to have.

Rowan Spencer is a Wiccan who, when she attempts a simple protection spell over the earth to hopefully prevent construction taking place that would raze the entire area, instead summons a demi-god named Gwydion who is “Lord of the Trees”. It’s been a while since Gwydion has been on earth in a corporeal form and is disheartened to learn that time and industry have taken their toll on the land.

I’ve got to hand it to the author who managed to combine sexy, sweet, and green all in one story that also gave us a very satisfying HEA! Even though one of the main plot devices had to do with the environment it didn’t beat me over the head at all and worked over all very well within the story. Rowan was sweet but not saccharine and Gwydion was totally freakin’ hot and dominant but definitely had a sensitive side.
