Lady Katherine Drummond plays by society’s rules, even after the Ton turns on her. Shunned by her peers, she keeps up appearances by day but allows her true self out in the privacy of The Market. There, in the arms of one man, she comes alive. So much so, she signs a contract to be his for six months. Despite never having seen his face and knowing him only as Sir, she fears losing her heart to the man who breaks through her defenses.

Lord Raymond Tarkenton, the Earl of Heathington, despises being one of the most sought after bachelors of the Ton. He could never ask a woman of his circle to submit to his sexual needs, and a mistress would never be an option. For now, one masked woman at The Market holds his undivided attention. When he realizes that his masked lover and Lady Katherine Drummond are one and the same, he must find a way to convince her that they are bound together by more than the straps at her wrists and the contract they signed. He must reveal himself and his love to her. But will she accept him for more than a sexual escape.

Love Revealed was a nice historical erotic romance. Lady Katherine Drummond is a widow who has been ostracized from the Ton due to circumstances beyond her control. Due to the nature of her late husband’s terminal illness, polite society has turned their back on her. She’s invited to social events but only out of the Ton’s morbid curiosity over her. Lord Raymond Tarkenton, the Earl of Heathington is a reclusive bachelor who normally avoids the Ton. He has decided to endure the suffocating societal events to ensure that his niece, Christine finds a suitable match.

Heath has taken pity on Katherine during several social events as she relegates herself to the role of wallflower during society dinners and balls. They have a mutual interest in horticulture and have spoken about it on a few occasions. One dance with Katherine has Heath longing for the embrace of his masked-lover, Kat. There’s something about Lady Katherine that stirs feelings in him that only Kat has been able to illicit.

These two characters seemed to be a perfect match for each other. They both went to The Market to get the sexual fulfillment they knew they couldn’t get among their peers. Though living as an independent woman and making her own financial decisions, Lady Katherine was a natural submissive who yearned for sexual domination. Lord Heathington never thought he would find a woman that would be open to his sexual proclivities. When he realizes that Kat and Lady Katherine are the same person he’s overjoyed that he has found a woman he can claim as his own. There is some spanking and very light bondage between the characters. There were some snippets of some of the decadence that takes place at The Market, the secret brothel/sex club that the two lovers meet at. I’m looking forward to seeing what other deviant acts take place there in future books. Love Revealed was a really sweet novella that I think would appeal to historical romance readers that like very light BDSM elements in their romances.
