On Getting Caught Up In It
By Amelia Fayer

First, thanks to Diana and Tanya for having me at the Forbidden Bookshelf today.

Wining and dining is lovely. Go ahead, whisper sweet nothings in my ear, can’t hurt. Jewelry? Okay.

Push me up against a wall and kiss me senseless because you think you’ll go crazy if you don’t, doesn’t matter where we are? Well…Can’t blame a girl for getting swept away.

For many people the allure of the sex in public fantasy has to do with getting caught, and admittedly, that is definitely a turn-on. Part of the fantasy could go even farther and the handsome stranger who caught you joins in! But I will admit to a squirrelly brain who does not always think what I want even when in the throes of my imagination (‘Damnit brain, the handsome stranger does not call the cops!’).

However, a lover who is completely overcome with desire for me? Even my squirrelly brain can’t override that. At that point, it’s not a matter of getting caught, it’s that I don’t care if we are.

It’s that idea of not caring that can be completely drugging. If you don’t care if people catch you, or if people are watching even, what hope is there of other little mundane worries creeping in to spoil your good time? There can be no thoughts of ‘are the dishes done,’ ‘did I pay that bill,’ or ‘the car needs gas’ when you are in the midst of such passion.

I know that my thoughts on the sex in public fantasy are…unconventional. Perhaps I’ve…ah…had the fantasy go a little sour on me to cause the squirrelly brain effect. But go after me simply because you can’t stand being separated from me anymore?

Well…

Which camp do you fall in – swept away or getting caught? Or both?

LUST IN THE LIBRARY
By Amelia Fayer

Some like it hot, and some like it in the reference section.

Sara is having a love affair with books. But, since books can’t make love to you, it means she’s in the middle of a very long dry spell. Until a sexy Brit shows up. Suddenly she’s learning just how stimulating a library can be up against a bookcase, behind the card catalog, on the circulation desk…

Meanwhile: Veronica is incredibly frustrated. While Sara and her new man are using the library as their personal adult playground, she’s stuck with only her thesis and her sexual fantasies. But Andrew, her crush, isn’t above using his assets to get Veronica right where he wants her: alone, in a darkened corner of the stacks. Who knew reading could be this pleasurable?
